LSU is attempting to land yet another Moffitt.
The Tigers extended an offer to Class of 2017 defensive end Aaron Moffitt, the son of LSU assistant athletic director and strength and conditioning coach Tommy Moffitt.
The offers comes on the heels of LSU’s junior event “Boys From The Boot.”
“Proud to announce I have the opportunity to play at THE Louisiana State University on scholarship,” Moffitt tweeted out on Saturday.
The 6-foot-4, 255-pound product of Catholic High School (Baton Rouge, La.) has picked up offers from Louisiana Tech, Colorado State, Louisiana-Monroe, Ball State and Texas-San Antonio in recent days.
Moffitt is also a teammate of tight end Ben Miles, the son of LSU coach Les Miles, who also holds an offer from the Tigers.
