An LSU fan has a good suggestion for the leading role if the folks in Hollywood ever feel like stringing together another sequel to “The Fast and the Furious” films.
LSU running back Leonard Fournette punished Mississippi State for 159 yards and three touchdowns in LSU’s 21-19 victory over the Bulldogs last Saturday. His running style was fast and furious. So much so that Twitter user Fritz Metzinger posted that he would be a great candidate for the iconic movie series.
Fournette laughed off the suggestion of becoming a leading man in one of the greatest action movies of all time, but he did hint at a potential acting career somewhere down the road.
“I’ll leave that (movie) to the actors – leave it to the actors,” Fournette told NOLA.com’s Jerit Roser on Monday. “You know I might (after football). Maybe a Hanes commercial, you know? Hanes underwear. But that’s about it.”
Fournette will likely be able to earn many endorsements in the NFL if he continues to run hard against Auburn on Saturday, and the rest of the SEC this season. Keep an eye out for the Heisman hopeful on your television screen soon and not just as a bruising running back.
Leonard Fournette should be in the next fast and furious movie
