LSU football: 4-star guard Chasen Hines commits to LSU
Add another name to LSU’s Class of 2018 commitment list. One of the top offensive line recruits in the country, 4-star offensive guard prospect Chasen Hines (Marshall, Texas) made his pledge to Ed Orgeron and the Tigers official on Twitter Sunday morning:

According to 247Sports, Hines is the 269th-ranked player in the country, and the 16th best guard. At 6-foot-2 and 350 pounds, he appears to have the size to come in and play right away, if asked to do so.
Hines chose the Tigers over several other top programs, including Texas, Oklahoma, TCU, Texas A&M, and others. He is the 12th known commit in LSU’s 2018 class, and the second offensive line prospect, after Mississippi center Cole Smith, who made his commitment official last weekend.
