Two-sport athletes are becoming less common these days, but it appears that former walk-on LSU quarterback Trey LaForge is going to join that exclusive club. Though he may not be a Bo Jackson or Deion Sanders-level talent, LaForge nevertheless will be a part of that club, as he has chosen to give up the pads for a pair of sneakers by joining the basketball team at Loyola-New Orleans.

A class of 2015 recruit, LaForge never threw a pass for the Tigers, but he was a star on both the gridiron and the hardwood at Jesuit High School in New Orleans. LaForge will be able to play immediately for the Wolf Pack, whose next game comes Saturday at Faulkner University.
