LSU football is the No. 1 topic of discussion every day on SEC Country’s One Team, One Podcast. Host Carter ‘The Power” Bryant explains how hilarious it is that Ed Orgeron hired Steve Ensminger as the new offensive coordinator after the departure of Matt Canada. Also, Bryant chats about how the emotional Ensminger opening press conference has laughably changed the climate around his promotion, the 2016 the addition of Jerry Sullivan to the Tigers coaching staff, what losing center Will Clapp to the NFL means for the Tigers offensive line going forward and a few facts about Popeye’s chicken.
Ed Orgeron’s fate is with Steve Ensminger, which is nuts
This is nuts. Like, Bryant has seen craziness at LSU. But never did he think it would be as insane as it was when Les Miles was head coach. But now the future of Orgeron and athletic director Joe Alleva is in the hands of Ensminger.
Bryant warns fans of getting caught up in the emotions of a press conference, especially one with the likeable Ensminger choking up when talking about the late Charles McClendon. His role as interim offensive coordinator in 2016 produced historic results, however things will be different now he is charge of the Tigers offense full-time.
Will Clapp declares for NFL Draft
Bryant is concerned about the framework of the LSU offensive line now Clapp is going pro. Also, he discusses the upcoming basketball tilt with Alabama, answers a few Tweets and shares a few facts about chicken.
