LSU football is the No. 1 topic of discussion every day on SEC Country’s One Team, One Podcast. Host Carter ‘The Power” Bryant is joined in this episode by SEC Country Mississippi State podcaster Brandon Walker. The two dive into vicious trash talk, can Ed Orgeron win a big road SEC test and if Nick Fitzgerald can accurately break down the talented LSU secondary.
LSU football needs to prove its worth
Winning on the road in conference is hard. Winning on the road against a fantastic coach is even harder. Winning on the road against a fantastic coach with an exceptional quarterback is pretty darn difficult.
LSU is going up against all of that as a favorite.
The truth is great programs win games such as these. The first two wins were impressive, but now the Tigers will truly be tested.
Three keys to victory
After exchanging wonderful pleasantries, Bryant and Walker go through three reasons why LSU and Mississippi State will win.
The Tigers feel comfortable with their secondary against anybody. Mississippi State believes they can score on anyone with Fitzgerald running Dan Mullen’s offense.
Can the LSU secondary lock down on the receivers of Mississippi State? Or will Fitzgerald pick them apart in an offensive showcase?
Bryant makes you rich. Well…maybe.
The Gators over Tennessee is one of Bryant’s favorite picks. Who do you think is a lock to win on Saturday?
