LSU football is the No. 1 topic of discussion every day on SEC Country’s One Team, One Podcast. Host Carter ‘The Power” Bryant shares why Auburn will beat LSU in a close game on Saturday, what to expect from the 2007 reunion and Les Miles return to Tiger Stadium, if there is a bias against LSU in broadcast booths and why his SEC picks are getting tougher every week.
Auburn wins ugly over LSU
Auburn is one of the hottest teams in the country, bludgeoning three straight conference opponents by a combined score of 144-47. The Tigers from the Plains are a seven-point favorite and most of the money in Vegas is pouring in for them to cover the spread.
Bryant believes Auburn will win, but it will be close. He cites two of Auburn’s last three opponents have been Missouri and Ole Miss, arguably the two worst teams in the conference. They also caught Mississippi State after the Bulldogs played LSU and Georgia back-to-back weeks.
CBS commentator Gary Danielson is great
Danielson is not loved by LSU fans. A quick Twitter search can quickly prove that.
Bryant says Danielson, or any national media member, has no egregious personal vendetta against LSU. Every fan base thinks the national commentators are against their team.
Bryant believes Saturday will be one to remember, as LSU will celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the 2007 national championship team. It will be a special, yet awkward, sight to see Les Miles back in Tiger Stadium.
Bryant has made you rich all year long. See what pick he likes the best this week.
