LSU football is the No. 1 topic of discussion every day on SEC Country’s One Team, One Podcast. Host Carter ‘The Power” Bryant explains why Ed Orgeron in the rain was one of the funnest moments in LSU football history. Also, SEC Country beat writer Alex Hickey joins the show to share how crazy the weather was in Knoxville, what the Tigers will do with kicker Connor Culp and why Danny Etling’s hand injury could be more severe than initially thought.
We need more Ed Orgeron in the rain
LSU slogged its way through Tennessee in a nasty 30-10 win in Knoxville. The weather was atrocious. However, it produced this magical moment with Orgeron and ESPN sideline reporter Allison Williams.

Bryant says that attitude is infectious on the team. He stated earlier this year Orgeron was not the same lovable cajun. But since the Tigers lost to Troy, he demeanor has changed. The fun interview in the rain during a one-possession game proves it.
Also, Bryant explains why LSU’s style of play gives them an advantage in rough conditions.
Danny Etling’s health
Hickey, fresh off a trip to Knoxville, hopped on the show to share his Neyland Stadium experience in a weird game. After discussing how insane the weather was, he shared his concern about Etling’s hand injury at the end of the game.
The question now arises if the senior quarterback will be ready for Saturday’s tilt against Texas A&M. Could this be the first start for true freshman Myles Brennan?
LSU OC Matt Canada was brilliant
Bryant says 281 yards of total offense is nothing to brag about. But considering the conditions, Canada called a fantastic game. He breaks down how both of LSU’s first half touchdowns were a byproduct of genius play design.
