The Southern University Lab School product is ranked as the nation’s No. 7 inside linebacker and the state of Louisiana’s No. 14 prospect, according to 247Sports’ composite rankings.
Clark holds six reported offers, and chose the Tigers over Florida, Miami, Mississippi State, Kansas and Buffalo.
He becomes LSU’s fourth commitment of its 2018 class, joining 5-star cornerback Kelvin Joseph, and 4-star safeties Caden Sterns and Nadab Joseph.
The Tigers currently hold 19 commitments in their 2017 class, which ranks as the nation’s seventh-best and the SEC’s No. 3 class.
