Though LSU’s Tiger Stadium, the home to Death Valley, is one of the most intimidating venues in all of college football, it is not impenetrable to those that wish to do it harm. According to Hilary Scheinuk of The Advocate, Tiger Stadium was broken into last night by vandals, who damaged the field:

At the moment it’s unclear both who broke into the stadium, and how much damage has been done to the turf itself. There was a report of a burglary, so it’s possible something has been taken, though again, it’s unclear what that might be.
This is not the first time Tiger Stadium has been a target of unwelcome visitors, as a pair of Alabama fans defaced the school’s logo ahead of the two teams’ game in early November.
