Clyde Edwards-Helaire has long counted on LSU’s loyalty to him.
Now the three-star running back in the Class of 2017 has committed.
After LSU’s “Boys From The Boot” event, Edwards-Helaire pledged to the Tigers. He is rated as the No. 30 running back in the country and the No. 19 prospect in the state of Louisiana, according to the 247Sports composite ranking.

The 5-foot-7, 191-pounder also named Vanderbilt, Iowa State and Texas-San Antonio in his top four leading up to this weekend.
“They believed I could be a playmaker going into my sophomore year,” Edwards-Helaire previously told SEC Country. “They have treated me like family since they started recruiting me.”
