LSU giving keys to Tiger Stadium to South Carolina
LSU is pulling out all the stops to make South Carolina feel at home this weekend.
The university announced on Thursday it will be transferring the keys to Tiger Stadium to South Carolina in a ceremony involving both student governments prior to the 3:30 E.T. kickoff, according to The Advocate’s Ross Dellenger.
LSU will also be hosting a tailgate for Tigers and Gamecocks fans who made the impromptu trip to Baton Rouge, La. on Saturday from noon to 2 p.m. E.T. on the LSU Parade Ground. There will be free food and non-alcoholic beverages provided at the tailgate.
South Carolina officials were forced to move the game from Columbia, S.C. to Baton Rouge, La. after the devastating flooding that took place last week. LSU is trying to make the best out of an unfortunate situation for South Carolina fans. The only thing they could do to make it better is throw a kegger prior to kickoff.
