LSU is set for a busy recruiting Friday, which includes a big haul of visitors from a promising 2019 class.
The latest addition to 2019 cornerback Chester Kimbrough, who will make a return visit to Baton Rouge one month after making multiple visits to campus for various camps.
The 6-foot, 165-pound prospect from Warren Easton Charter School (La.) in New Orleans was among the top prospects this spring during the NCAA’s Evaluation Period when he garnered offers from UGA, Oregon State, Kansas and Louisiana Tech, among others.
Kimbrough is a top-25 corner in the 2019 class and ranked No. 12 in the state, per the 247Sports Composite rankings.
Expect Kimbrough to spend a good chunk of time with Tigers defensive backs coach Corey Raymond and area recruiter Mickey Joseph on Friday.
Kimbrough will be joined by two of his teammates from Easton, including 2019 QB Lance LeGendre and 2020 RB Ashaad Clayton. Fellow 2019 defensive standout Donte Starks will also be on campus.
