LSU is set to host a bevy of notable prospects over the next several days to round out July, and that includes a new wide receiver on the board.
Class of 2019 wide receiver Gerome Henry is scheduled to make his first unofficial visit to Baton Rouge this weekend. Henry, a 5-foot-11, 186-pound prospect from Westfield (Texas) High School in Houston, is the cousin of former New Orleans area prep star and Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chris Henry.
Henry, one of the top Texas wideouts in the 2019 recruiting class, committed to Kansas last month. The Jayhawks are currently his lone reported offer.
Henry’s summer visit tour will kick off with LSU on July 22 and continue onto West Virginia for July 29.
The Houston area standout already holds an invitation to the 2019 Under Armour All-America Game in Orlando, Fla.
Stay tuned with SEC Country for updates on Henry’s stop in Baton Rouge and whether wide receivers coach Mickey Joseph pulls the trigger on an offer to the budding prospect.
