Mickey Joseph is enjoying himself a very busy Tuesday.
Joseph and LSU are hosting 4-star New Orleans wide receiver Lawrence Keys III for an unofficial visit on Tuesday, his mother told SEC Country.
Keys joins fellow New Orleans area prospect and elite wideout Koy Moore, who is also making a stop at LSU for a visit.
Why is this significant? Earlier this month, Keys told SEC Country that he is very close to making a college decision and he wanted to return to Baton Rouge for a visit before the start of his senior season at McDonogh 35 (La.) High School.
Keys, a top-220 prospect in the 2018 recruiting class and a top-10 prospect in Louisiana, has previously named LSU as his leading school and maintained that stance from April through July. The Tigers currently hold 100-percent of the Crystal Ball picks for the blue-chip wide receiver.
Keys may be nearing a decision, but it’s critical that he brings along his mother for a visit before he finalizes his plans. Keys has recently made a stop at Alabama and previously visited Auburn this summer. He’s more likely to release a top five before the fall, then make a commitment sometime between his senior season and National Signing Day.
