LSU’s busy recruiting weekend will kick off on Friday with another important underclassman visitor.
Class of 2019 dual-threat quarterback Lance LeGendre will make an unofficial visit to LSU.
LeGendre, a standout passer for Warren Easton Charter School (La.) in New Orleans, previously visited for the team’s “Boys From The Boot” recruiting function and participated in the 7-on-7 tournament a month ago.
The 6-foot-2, 205-pound prospect holds several offers as he prepares for his junior season, including Tulane, Southern Miss, Oregon State and Nicholls State.
LSU has not yet offered LeGendre but continues to recruit the dual-threat passer. He’ll head to Baton Rouge along with Class of 2020 teammate and running back Ashaad Clayton, who earned an offer from LSU last month.
The Tigers do not hold a commitment from a quarterback in their 2018 recruiting class. If they are unable to land one in 2018, they are likely to take two quarterbacks in 2019.
