LSU coach Les Miles provided updates on several banged-up Tigers following Saturday’s scrimmage.
Sophomore offensive guard Will Clapp sustained the most serious injury with a sports hernia, and will miss LSU’s spring game, Miles said, according to The Advocate’s Ross Dellenger.
There was some good news on the injury front. Miles announced senior linebacker Kendell Beckwith participated in the team scrimmage and didn’t appear to miss a beat, according to NOLA.com’s Jim Kleinpeter. Beckwith sustained a minor injury four weeks ago during the beginning of spring ball.
Another Tigers player who could return soon is senior cornerback Tre’Davious White. Miles said White twisted his ankle last week and could get back on the field by next week, according to Dellenger.
