BATON ROUGE, La. — This LSU game against Alabama is coming down to every play and every inch. And now the Tigers are without one of their key players.
Starting left tackle K.J. Malone departed this 0-0 affair in the first half and did not return to the field for the second half. LSU Radio is reporting that Malone sustained a stinger and has a wrap around his left arm. This will likely keep him out for the rest of the game.
#LSU OL K.J. Malone suffered a first-half stinger. He's got a heavily wrapped left biceps on the sideline, LSU Radio reports.

In his place, Maea Teuhema has bumped from right tackle to left. Toby Weathersby has assumed the post at right tackle, a position he had been rotating with Teuhema at all game. This is Weathersby’s first game back healthy since injuring his ankle against Mississippi State on Sept. 17.
