Ausbon, a 6-foot-2, 217-pound prospect from the IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.), is ranked as the nation’s No. 11 overall receiver in the Class of 2017 and the No. 14 player in the state of Florida.
Ausbon’s commitment gives the Tigers 14 commits for 2017. He is the third wide receiver prospect in this class, joining fellow 4-star talents in Mannie Netherly, who committed on Friday, and Stephen Guidry.
In apparent reaction to the news, LSU assistant Dameyune Craig posted a message on Twitter.
