LSU continues to reap the benefits from last week’s junior day as Wednesday yielded a third out-of-state commitment.
This time, the Tigers landed 3-star Alabama athlete Kris Abrams-Draine, a projected wide receiver. Abrams-Draine picked up his offer from LSU around this time a week ago and made his way to Baton Rouge for the first time on Saturday. He gave a commitment to the coaching staff on Wednesday.
The 6-foot, 160-pound Abrams-Draine hails from Spanish Fort (Ala.) High School in the Mobile, Ala., area. It’s the same high school as current LSU defensive lineman Justin Thomas.
Abrams-Draine becomes the first member of the Tigers’ 2020 recruiting class. He also held offers from Arkansas, Florida, Ole Miss and Tennessee, among others.
