It’s the final game of the season at Tiger Stadium, and the last thing LSU fans wanted to witness in a showdown with Florida was an injury to star LB Kendell Beckwith.
Unfortunately, it appears as though the standout senior linebacker suffered a left knee injury during the first half of the game against the Gators on Saturday.
Kendell Beckwith is down on the field. Looks like he might've been grasping at a knee. Really, really not what you want to see. #LSU

SEC Network sideline reporter Kaylee Hartung reported that Beckwith returned to the sidelines after being examined by team medical officials. He is not believed to have structural damage, and it is reported that he will be reevaluated at halftime to determine whether he might be able to attempt a return to the game.
#LSU radio: Kendell Beckwith is out for the rest of the first half. Will be re-evaluated at halftime.

Beckwith entered the contest on Saturday with 90 tackles through nine games, including six tackles for loss.
LSU finishes its season at Texas A&M, meaning the Florida game is the last opportunity for Beckwith to show out in front of a home crowd.
