Austin Deculus has rapidly built up his frame leading up to his senior season and his early enrollment at LSU.
Naturally, that has coincided with the Tigers offensive tackle commit earning 5-star status and ascending to the No. 6-rated prospect at his position for the Class of 2017.
During LSU’s satellite camp in Houston last month, Deculus told SEC Country that he had been spending much of the spring and summer inside of the weight room. That was exceedingly obvious on Tuesday afternoon when the lineman’s Cy-Fair High School (Cypress, Texas) coach posted a video of Deculus squatting a school-record 585 pounds.
After the 6-foot-6, 331-pound future Tiger maxed out, he had nothing else to say but this: “Next stop: 600 (pounds).”
