LSU player gets Biblical, compares Les Miles’ plight to Jesus
After what likely had been one of the most tumultuous football-related weeks any of the LSU players have ever endured, it seems easy to imagine some of the guys letting down their guard a little once it was over.
Not exactly this far down, however.
Coach Les Miles entered Saturday with the feel of a dead man walking. There were numerous reports stating the LSU-Texas A&M game would be Miles’ last with the Tigers after three consecutive losses.
With a thunderous 19-7 win over the Aggies came some relief. LSU athletic director Joe Alleva removed Miles from the hot seat by saying the coach would be sticking around.
According to Tiger Rag’s Cody Worsham, LSU junior defensive lineman Lewis Neal compared the up-and-down week Miles endured to the life of Jesus.
