LSU struggled to get its running game going in the first half of Saturday’s game against the Arkansas Razorbacks and its offensive line took a big hit on the injury front.
Junior left tackle Jerald Hawkins is doubtful to return to the game after he sustained an ankle injury during the first half. Sophomore K.J. Malone, son of NBA player Karl Malone, subbed into the game for the injured Hawkins.

LSU managed to get a touchdown on its opening drive of the second half without Hawkins in the trenches. Tailback Leonard Fournette ran for 36 yards on five carries and capped LSU’s drive with a 2-yard touchdown run to pull the Tigers within seven points.
