LSU-Miami game in 2018 moved to a Sunday night

LSU will play under Sunday night lights.

On Tuesday, LSU announced that its game against Miami (Fla.), originally scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 1, 2018, will be played at 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, Sept. 2, 2018. The game will be played on ABC.

The contest will be featured on a big stage. It will be played at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. It marks the third straight year that ABC has aired a prime-game on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend.

The game will mark the first time the Tigers and Hurricanes have played in the regular season since 1988, and it will be the third game overall in the series since 1969. LSU beat Miami in the 2005 Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, which was the most recent game between the programs.
