BATON ROUGE, La. — Many of the nation’s top wide receivers were in attendance for Day 2 of LSU’s high school prospect camp on Friday, but one budding recruit left with an offer.
Class of 2019 Louisiana wide receiver Trey Palmer told SEC Country that he picked up an offer from LSU coach Les Miles after impressing the entire coaching staff during one-on-one and seven-on-seven drills following the morning practice session.
Palmer, a 6-foot-1, 163-pounder out of Kentwood (La.) High School picked up his first offer from Mississippi State last week.
The budding in-state wide receiver prospect is expected to meet with Miles again in between practice sessions in the coach’s office.
