LSU is in the process of putting together the final pieces of its 2017 recruiting class, but has also used Tuesday to shift its attention to its future classes.
With that, a major offer was handed out.
The Tigers extended an offer to 2020 Texas cornerback Dwight McGlothern, a source told SEC Country.
McClothern, a 6-foot-1, 160-pounder from New Caney (Texas) High, made an unofficial visit to LSU over the fall and certainly has the size and raw athleticism that caught the attention of LSU defensive backs coach Corey Raymond.
McGlothern was one of several high-profile underclass recruits in attendance at the NPA Texas Exposure Camp in Houston over the weekend. That performance factored into LSU’s decision to offer the rising sophomore defensive back.
