BATON ROUGE, La. — The kickoff time for LSU’s Oct. 22 game against Ole Miss was announced Monday.
The Tigers (3-2, 2-1 SEC) will face the 12th-ranked Rebels (3-2, 1-1) at 9 p.m. ET at Tiger Stadium. The game will be broadcast on ESPN.
It will be LSU’s second straight game against an opponent from the Magnolia State with Southern Miss coming to town the week before. It will also be LSU’s first game against an SEC opponent in three weeks thanks to the postponement of Oct. 8’s scheduled game at Florida.
Vengeance will be in the air on several levels for LSU. The Rebels humiliated the Tigers last year in Oxford, cruising to a 38-17 win. And of course Ole Miss is where LSU interim coach Ed Orgeron had his lone, unsuccessful stint as a full-time head coach, going 10-25 in three seasons before getting fired.
