LSU and Florida both enter next week’s game undefeated, but the Tigers opened up in Vegas as a 7.5 favorite over the Gators in Saturday’s showdown in Death Valley.
The Tigers are coming off a 45-24 victory over South Carolina, while the Gators stifled Missouri’s offense in a 21-3 win. The oddsmakers aren’t giving Florida a ton of respect, considering the Gators are 6-0 on the season, with a marquee home win against then No. 3 Ole Miss.
LSU has struggled to beat the spread as of late, they barely covered a 20-point spread last weekend against the Gamecocks.
The Gators already knocked off Ole Miss at the Swamp, but containing LSU tailback Leonard Fournette on the road will prove to be a tall order for the Florida defense.
