One of LSU’s two 2017 quarterback commits has been selected to play in the Under Armour All-American Game.
Myles Brennan, a 3-star quarterback from Bay Saint Louis, Miss., tweeted that he had been invited to play in the prestigious high school all-star game. The Under Armour All-American Game features some of the top high school prospects in the country. Past alums of the event include Julio Jones, Leonard Fournette and Jameis Winston.

In Brennan’s game Friday night, he threw for 248 yards and scored seven combined touchdowns in a win. In his first two games of the season, Brennan has accounted for 12 total touchdowns.
Brennan’s play and continued recognition should alleviate some of the concerns about LSU’s other 2017 quarterback commit, Lowell Narcisse, who tore his left ACL on Thursday. In 2015, Narcisse tore his other ACL. Narcisse is the higher rated of the two quarterbacks, as he is the No. 5 dual-threat quarterback and a 4-star. Brennan is the No. 17 pro-style quarterback for his class.
LSU opens its season a week from Saturday. The Tigers will play the Wisconsin Badgers at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wis.
