LSU commit Zadock Dinkelmann will be sidelined for the remainder of the season, he announced through Twitter on Friday.
The 6-foot-4, 213-pound quarterback from Somerset, Texas, is reportedly suffering from a stress fracture on his right ankle, according to 247Sports.com’s Shea Dixon. The injury will force him to miss the rest of his sophomore season.
Dinkelmann, a 2018 prospect from Somerset High School, has long been committed to LSU. He pledged to the Tigers in February of 2014.
His only other reported offer is from Texas.
It is now official that I will not return for this football season
