LSU RB commit Clyde Edwards-Helaire has re-opened his recruitment but says he is still committed to the Tigers.
The 3-star tailback made the announcement Monday on Twitter, saying he wanted to “explore all of my options.”

“I have been fully committed to LSU throughout the entire recruiting process,” Edwards-Helaire said. “I should feel like a priority with an (sic) school. … I have to be compatible and fit into the programs (sic) offense and their vision.”
LSU hired new offensive coordinator Matt Canada on Dec. 14. The Tigers have already dealt with some recruiting drama this month with both of their 2017 quarterback commits.
Edwards-Helaire is No. 15 prospect in Louisiana and No. 26 running back in the nation for the class of 2017. He also holds offers from Oklahoma and Mississippi State. He has been committed to the Tigers since Feb. 13, and he is LSU’s only running back commit for the class of 2017.
