LSU running back Leonard Fournette set another record on Saturday night against Eastern Michigan. The sophomore tailback accumulated 200 yards for the third-consecutive game. Fournette is the first running back in SEC history to rush for 200 yards in three-consecutive games.
Fournette is also flirting with LSU’s single-game rushing record of 250 yards. That record was set by Alley Broussard in 2004. Fournette has accumulated 233 yards and three touchdowns early in the fourth quarter. Another record could be broken before the game is finished.
Leonard Fournette first back to rush for over 200 yds in 3 straight games in SEC history. Maybe Herschel Walker was right. #LSU
