BATON ROUGE, La. — LSU has offered one of Louisiana’s top 2020 defensive backs.
Ja’Darius Clark, better known as Bud, picked up an offer from the Tigers coaching staff after turning in a strong performance during the elite high school prospect camp Friday.
Clark, who measures in at 6-foot-2 and 170 pounds, is the 10th Louisiana prospect to hold an offer from LSU in his class. He joins TJ Finley (committed), Ashaad Clayton, Koy Moore, Kayshon Boutte, Jakhi Douglas, Jaquelin Roy, Cam’Ron Jackson, Kelin Burrle (UTSA commit) and Jacobian Guillory, who is a teammate of Clark’s at Alexandria (La.) High School.
Clark has played in the secondary and at quarterback for Alexandria. He worked out at cornerback for the Tigers and is the first in-state defensive back to garner an offer.
LSU is his fourth offer, joining Tulane, Louisiana-Lafayette and Grambling.
