LSU’s 2018 recruiting class got even better on Wednesday evening. Coach Will Wade received a commitment from shooting guard Marlon Taylor.
The JucoRecruiting.com Twitter account was the first to break the news.

Taylor isn’t ranked among the nation’s top players, according to 247Sports. Still, he is considered a solid addition to an already impressive class. Cody Worsham, who covers LSU for Tiger Rags, had this to say about the 6-foot-6, 210-pound shooting guard:
Crazy fact on Marlon Taylor: he didn't start playing organized ball until his junior year of high school.

The Tigers already had the nation’s No. 4 overall class — No. 2 in the SEC. That’s a result of bringing in two 5-star prospects (Nazreon Reid and Emmitt Williams) and two 4-star talents (Ja’Vonte Smart and Darius Days), in addition to Taylor.
Taylor averaged 16.4 points and 9.6 rebounds for Panola College (Carthage, Texas) this past season.
