LSU pays tribute to terrorist attack victims with French flag
LSU paid tribute to the victims of the terrorist attacks that occurred Friday in Paris before its game against the Arkansas Razorbacks.
The Tigers captains traveled to midfield with American and French flags before the coin toss for Saturday night’s game at Tiger Stadium in a classy gesture. Offensive tackle Jerald Hawkins carried the French flag onto the field.

The state of Louisiana has plenty of ties to French culture. A moment of silence was also held before the game in memory of the victims in Paris.
