The first round of January official visitors are making their way to Baton Rouge, but the LSU coaching staff is already planning where they’ll be the day after.
On Monday, LSU will send not one, not two, but three coaches to go in-home with 4-star linebacker commit Patrick Queen.
Those coaches: head coach Ed Orgeron, defensive coordinator Dave Aranda and secondary coach Corey Raymond.
The 6-foot-1, 219-pounder from Livonia (La.) High is the Tigers’ lone linebacker commit in their 2017 recruiting class. He committed early last spring and has remained solid throughout the length of his recruitment.
On Christmas Eve, Queen canceled his other official visits to Ole Miss, Indiana and Nebraska to further solidify his path to Baton Rouge.
This will be the first time that Orgeron makes his way to go in-home with Queen. Both Aranda and Raymond visited with the star linebacker during the Contact Period in December.
Queen will officially visit LSU on Jan. 20. He’ll be joined by a slew of other linebacker targets, including Willie Gay, who will be officially visiting as well, and Jacob Phillips making an unofficial stop.
