Two weeks after turning in a strong performance at prospect camp, Shedeur Sanders earned an offer from LSU.
Sanders, the son of former NFL and Florida State great Deion Sanders, was one of two Sanders boys to work out in front of the Tigers staff. Shilo Sanders, a 2019 defensive back, also was on hand.
The Class of 2021 quarterback already wields an impressive offer list, with notable overtures from Florida State, as well as Florida, Louisville, Baylor and Oregon, among others.
The younger Sanders is the fourth 2021 quarterback to earn an offer from first-year offensive coordinator Steve Ensminger. The staff recently offered Garrett Nussmeier, also from Texas, who worked out with Sanders in Baton Rouge on June 3. Preston Stone and Jake Garcia also hold offers.
The 6-foot, 175-pound Sanders is among the top dual-threat prospects in the nation. Sanders starts for Trinity Christian (Texas) High School in Cedar Hill, Texas, the hometown of current LSU quarterback Justin McMillan.
