LSU freshman Ben Simmons has quickly moved on from LSU’s disappointing season and is focusing on the NBA.
The star and potential No. 1 pick in the 2016 NBA Draft has already picked an agent to represent him just three days after LSU’s embarrassing 71-38 loss to Texas A&M. Simmons will sign with Klutch Sports, an agency funded by LeBron James, according to Yahoo’s Adrian Wojnarowski. Simmons will be represented by Rich Paul.
Simmons was as good as advertised during his lone season in Baton Rouge, La. He averaged 19.2 points, 11.8 rebounds and 4.8 assists and emerged as one of the best players in the country. Unfortunately, Simmons’ talent wasn’t enough to save LSU’s season. The Tigers finished 19-14 and did not get selected for the NCAA tournament. LSU decided not to accept a bid to the NIT.
