Jamal Adams knew LSU fans would come out to spring practice after he urged the Tigers faithful to attend. What he didn’t expect was for one of his fellow classmates to show up and challenge him to a race.
But that’s exactly what Connor Deneau did, even though he figured the odds of winning were virtually nonexistent. Deneau challenged Adams to a 40-yard dash competition, and the safety, who earned an All-SEC Second Team honors last year as a sophomore, was happy to accept.

“[It] was an awesome moment for me as a huge fan of his,” Deneau wrote on Reddit. “I thought I would share this with y’all because I think it’s hilarious and it’s nice to see players being normal guys and being involved with students/fans.”
