It turns out defensive coordinator Kevin Steele won’t be the only asset LSU loses this week.
Tigers redshirt sophomore receiver John Diarse plans to transfer, the school announced late Thursday night. Diarse recently graduated, meaning he is free to play immediately for another program.
A former 4-star high school prospect out of Monroe, La., Diarse started the final three games of 2015 for LSU and finished the season with 13 catches for 137 yards. His potential destinations are not yet known at this time.
