One of LSU’s top targets at a crucial position will miss serious time because of an injury.
Kamryn Babb, a 4-star wide receiver, sustained a torn ACL on the first day of practice at Christian Brothers College High School in St. Louis.
The news was first reported by KSDK News.
Babb, a top-50 prospect in the Class of 2018, is expected to make an official visit to LSU in the fall. The Tigers are in desperate need of reinforcements at the wide receiver position and have been dialing up the pressure on the 6-foot-1, 189-pound Babb in recent months.
Babb, a U.S. Army All-American, is the No. 6 wideout in the class and top prospect from Missouri, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
While LSU will host Babb for an official visit in the fall, 100 percent of the 247Sports Crystal Ball predictions favor Ohio State.
