LSU’s Brandon Harris beats double coverage on beautiful 3rd-and-18 conversion
Things had started poorly for LSU’s offense in Saturday’s game against Alabama, but wide receiver Travin Dural bailed the Tigers out of a tricky situation.
Facing a third-and-18 on its own 2-yard line, Brandon Harris threw a tough pass into double coverage along the right sideline. Somehow, Dural managed to leap behind two Alabama defenders, snag the pass and retain possession of the ball to give LSU some breathing room.

The play almost didn’t happen. Harris had actually been tackled in the end zone for a safety, but he snapped the ball too late and was saved by a delay of game penalty. A penalty actually saved the Tigers. LSU ultimately punted on the drive, but Dural’s catch did change field position drastically.
