LSU takes care of its former players in the NFL.
There are currently 46 LSU players on an NFL roster per ESPN Stats & Info and all of them received a care package from the LSU equipment staff per ESPN‘s Vaughn McClure. Among the gifts included was a gold jersey with their name on it, like the ones LSU wore against Mississippi State.

McClure spoke with Atlanta Falcons’ defensive end Tyson Jackson, whose gold jersey is shown above. Per JAckson, LSU annually sends out these swag bags.
It’s awesome knowing that I’ve been away from school almost nine years now and to know that you still have coaches and people that work in administration who still think about their players. It says a lot about the school,” JAckson said. “It says a lot about the standard the school represents.”
Two other former Tigers, Deion Jones and Jalen Collins, are also on the Falcons and received a variety of LSU gifts. Collins appreciated getting the special jersey, especially since LSU traditionally just wears their white jerseys.
“That was really cool, especially the jerseys, because we didn’t get to wear different jerseys like that,” Collins said. “It was usually the white, and occasionally the purple. When they do a special jersey, it’s always kind of cool. And for them to send that to us, it means they’re still showing love.
LSU picked up a 38-21 win over Ole Miss on Saturday. The Tigers are off this week before hosting Alabama on Nov. 5.
