LSU’s series with Arizona State, originally scheduled to take place in 2022 and 2023 has been pushed back to 2026 and 2029, Arizona State confirmed.
The Sun Devils made the announcement in conjunction with their announcement they would play Oklahoma State in a home-and-home series for those dates in 2022 and 2023. According to an Arizona State press release, LSU requested the date change.
The Tigers will travel to Tempe, Ariz., to play the Sun Devils on Sept. 12, 2026 and then will host the Sun Devils at Tiger Stadium on Sept. 8, 2029.
Arizona State is typically a pretty strong program out of the Pac-12 as a consistent bowl team. It should provide a nice schedule boost to the Tigers.
Of course, this is all 10 and 13 years away, so it is hard to say exactly what either program will look like at that time.
