Many SEC opponents have seen their seasons perish in Death Valley, and that includes SEC zombies. Believe it or not, Mike the Tiger and Les Miles serve as part-time zombie slayers when they aren’t supporting or coaching LSU.
Mike and a Miles impersonator vanquished SEC zombies in a Halloween spoof video by LSU Athletics titled “Attack of the Walking SEC Un-Dead.”
“Death Valley is where opposing teams’ dreams come to die. … And so must the SEC Zombie foes,” the video reads.
Mike the Tiger managed to take out zombies from rivals Texas A&M, Arkansas and Florida before calling for backup. That’s when a person pretending to be Miles trotted out of the tunnel to finish the job. Mike and Miles teamed up to defeat undead Auburn and Mississippi State fans, but there was still one remaining SEC rival the Tigers needed to exorcise.
The undead version of legendary Alabama coach Bear Bryant entered the stadium and was immediately conquered by Miles to preserve the sanctity of Death Valley.
LSU might have taken down its SEC rivals in zombie form, but it still has the bulk of these SEC rivals ahead on the schedule. The Tigers will have to play Alabama next week, followed by Arkansas, Ole Miss and Texas A&M to conclude the season.
