The nation’s No. 1 prospect for 2018 will be in Baton Rouge next week.
Trevor Lawrence, a 5-star quarterback from Cartersville, Ga., will take in the LSU-Alabama game next Saturday with his family, according to 247Sports’ Rusty Mansell. The Lawrence family will arrive in Baton Rouge on Saturday and stay overnight.
It’s just the second visit of the season for Lawrence, who was in attendance for the Clemson-Louisville game on Oct.1.
The original plan was to attend Michigan State’s game against Illinois next week, but that trip has since been canceled, per Mansell.
The following weekend, Lawrence will visit Georgia for the Bulldogs’ contest against Auburn in Athens.
Lawrence holds offers from both LSU and Alabama, but it’s long been considered a two-team race between Georgia and Clemson. According to 247Sports’ Crystal Ball predictions, 80 percent of recruiting analysts predict Lawrence to end up at Georgia.
The 6-foot-6, 196-pound quarterback is ranked as the nation’s No. 1 signal caller for 2018.
