HOUSTON — LSU cracked the top six for 4-star wide receiver Joshua Moore before he committed to Nebraska on June 18.
The Tigers are far from finished recruiting the top-100 2018 prospect.
Moore is aiming to take all five of his official visits before finalizing his plans to stick with the Huskers or consider flipping elsewhere. LSU will surely host the blue-chip wide receiver for an official visit this fall. So will his other two finalists — Florida State and Texas A&M — as well as Nebraska.
LSU head coach Ed Orgeron and wide receivers coach Mickey Joseph have remained in daily communication with the Under Armour All-American even after he gave a verbal commitment to Nebraska last month. While he maintains that he is solid in his pledge, Moore remains open to the Tigers’ recruiting pitch to him.
“They’re still knocking on my door,” Moore told SEC Country, “and I haven’t shut them out yet.”
Moore has not officially scheduled any of his upcoming visits to this date.
Moore is the No. 64 prospect in the 2018 recruiting class, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. He is the No. 12 wide receiver and the No. 8 overall recruit from Texas.
