One Nevada sports book considers LSU a two-touchdown favorite to open the season.
On Thursday, the William Hill US Race and Sports Book released its Week 1 college football point spreads. As you can see below, LSU is listed as a 14-point favorite against BYU on Sept. 2.
It will be interesting to see if the Tigers can enjoy such a comfortable victory. Especially with the game being held at a neutral site, at NRG Stadium in Houston, it’s not hard to see the Cougars playing LSU close. The matchup will be an intriguing opening test for Ed Orgeron to start his first full year as LSU coach.
The Tigers finished 8-4 last year, capped by a victory over Louisville in the Citrus Bowl.
