In Mingo’s three seasons in the NFL, he has only 7.0 sacks. He played in 16 games for the Browns last year but he did not register a single sack. The New England Patriots have now acquired the No. 6 and No. 7 from the 2013 NFL Draft. The Patriots traded for former UNC guard Jonathan Cooper earlier in the offseason.
The Browns had four first round picks from 2011 to 2013 and none of them are currently on the team. Mingo had 15.0 sacks in his three seasons at LSU. Mingo was the Tigers last top 10 pick.
